Sigma Pi Kappa
An honorary society which recognizes superior scholarship
and professional accomplishments in the field of historic preservation.
Sigma Pi Kappa is
an international honorary society, founded at the University of Georgia,
which recognizes superior scholarship and professional accomplishments
in the field of historic preservation. The majority of the Society's
members are elected to membership based upon a cumulative grade point average
of 3.70, or better, calculated on more than one-half of their program of
study. At the University of Georgia, the initiation of new members
is held in historic Demosthenian Hall (1824) during May, recognized in
Georgia as Historic Preservation Month.
